Salud Hondu
and its annual fundraiser, One Cup of Tea

Carolina Catholic chats with members of Salud Hondu, a mission based in Wilmington that supports a medical clinic, the Clinica de Santa Maria, in Reitoca, Honduras.  Our guests are Laura Vinson, Dr. John and Penny Cromer, and Millie Moore.

In this show, we speak to the wonderful volunteers of Salud Hondu for the fourth year about their work in Reitoca at the Clinica Santa Maria and the fundraiser for the clinic called One Cup of Tea, which will be held on Saturday, March 25th from 2 to 4 p.m., in the Upper Room 1871 located at 412 Ann Street in downtown Wilmington. This year’s One Cup of Tea is inspired by the works of author, Jane Austen.  All proceeds from this event go directly to support the work of the doctor and medical staff of Clinica Santa Maria which serves the medical needs of a poor and rural area of central Honduras.You can read more about Salud Hondu and its work at www.saludhondu.org.
