Carolina Catholic Addresses Life Topics

For our shows in October, Carolina Catholic will explore some difficult topics that face or have faced our Church. In our first show, we chat with Father Lawrence Carney, the Walking Priest, who takes the message of the Gospel to the streets of St. Joseph, Missouri, and then we also chat with Father Joseph D. Fessio, S.J., Founder of Ignatius Press, and we will be learning about one of its newest publications, The Priest Barracks: Dachau 1938 to 1945.

In our second show, we will learn about Room At The Inn, a Catholic crisis pregnancy center located in Greensboro, NC. Room At The Inn is a unique, comprehensive program helping homeless single pregnant women with or without previous children. Room At The Inn helps not only during pregnancies but also after the birth of their babies and is part of Catholic Charities USA.

These shows will air Saturdays at 11 am and Sundays at 6 pm. The first show will air the first two weekends of October; the second show on the third and fourth weekends.

Wilmington Catholic Radio is an apostolate serving the Catholic Church and consistently operating in accord with the principles and truths of the Catholic Faith as expressed in Sacred Scripture, Sacred Tradition and the living Magisterium of the Church. Our goal is to always provide the community with solid Catholic teaching so Catholics can have an easy way to learn more about their faith, and for non-Catholics to learn what the Church really teaches. This is our mission.
