Carolina Catholic learns about civic participation and careering

For our first show in July, Carolina Catholic does two interviews about two books for Catholics, Reclaiming the Republic, by former VA State Assemblyman and Congressional Aide Bob Marshall, and Careering, A Practical and Spiritual Guide: How to Find and Maintain Work in Today’s Economy by Paul Dean and Dana Gower, parishioners at St. Andrew the Apostle in Apex and Knights of Columbus Local 6650. In the first interview, Bob Marshall shares his work in the Virginia House of Delegates and working for Congress where he helped craft laws protecting religious liberty, the unborn, and traditional marriage, and in his book, he shares what he learned while working in politics and how we are all called to be civic activists. In the second interview, former Fortune 500 company employees, Paul Dean and Dana Gower, share their tips about surviving in our careers if we’re fired or downsized by our companies.

This show will air the first two full weekends of July - Saturdays at 11 am and Sundays at 6 pm.

St. Michael the Archangel

Wilmington Catholic Radio is an apostolate serving the Catholic Church and consistently operating in accord with the principles and truths of the Catholic Faith as expressed in Sacred Scripture, Sacred Tradition and the living Magisterium of the Church. Our goal is to always provide the community with solid Catholic teaching so Catholics can have an easy way to learn more about their faith, and for non-Catholics to learn what the Church really teaches. This is our mission.
