Carolina Catholic talks with Author Sally Read

For our first October show, our guest is Sally Read, Catholic author and poet, who, in 2010, converted from atheism to Catholicism as told in her book, "Night's Bright Darkness," the subject of our March 2017 show. In her newest book, “Annunciation: a Call to Faith in a Broken World,” Sally writes a letter to her daughter about the urgency of faith based around a meditation on the Annunciation. Sally currently lives with her husband and daughter near Rome, Italy.

This show will air on Wilmington Catholic Radio's four stations, 91.7 FM, 93.1 FM, and 103.1 FM in Wilmington and 100.7 FM in Southport the first and second weekends of October, Saturdays at 11 a.m. and Sundays at 6 p.m.

St. Michael the Archangel

Wilmington Catholic Radio is an apostolate serving the Catholic Church and consistently operating in accord with the principles and truths of the Catholic Faith as expressed in Sacred Scripture, Sacred Tradition and the living Magisterium of the Church. Our goal is to always provide the community with solid Catholic teaching so Catholics can have an easy way to learn more about their faith, and for non-Catholics to learn what the Church really teaches. This is our mission.
