Carolina Catholic and the George Floyd case

For our first July show, we will first hear from former police officer, Adam Davis, about his book, Behind the Badge: 365 Daily Devotions for Law Enforcement. Adam left a career in law enforcement in 2015 to begin a new career as an author and motivational speaker especially to assist those in law enforcement with their faith given the high rate of officers killed each year on the job and the rate of suicide among police officers. Adam addresses the tragedy of the George Floyd case and what we as a nation must do to ensure safety for everyone. In addition, my husband, Dr. Mario Paparozzi, a criminologist, will talk about the impact of this case and the reforms that are needed.

This show will air on Wilmington Catholic Radio's four stations, 91.7 FM, 93.1 FM, and 103.1 FM in Wilmington and 100.7 FM in Southport on the first two weekends of July, Saturdays at 11 a.m. and Sundays at 6 p.m.

St. Michael the Archangel

Wilmington Catholic Radio is an apostolate serving the Catholic Church and consistently operating in accord with the principles and truths of the Catholic Faith as expressed in Sacred Scripture, Sacred Tradition and the living Magisterium of the Church. Our goal is to always provide the community with solid Catholic teaching so Catholics can have an easy way to learn more about their faith, and for non-Catholics to learn what the Church really teaches. This is our mission.
