Carolina Catholic learns about the Lahaina fires from world tandem surfing champion and Catholic author, Bear Woznick

For our first September show, our guest is Bear Woznick, host of EWTN’s Motorcycle Based Reality TV show, “Long Ride Home with Bear Woznick.” Bear lives in Hawaii, and his father was the deacon at the Catholic Church on Maui that escaped destruction from these fires. We will learn about the miraculous story of this church, Maria Lanakila Catholic Church (Our Lady of Victory),and we will find out from Bear what is happening in Hawaii as so many have been impacted by this tragedy. Bear will be back on Carolina Catholic in October to talk to us about his upcoming book, Where Have All the Cowboys Gone – 12 Rules of Manliness, which is being released this fall.

This show will air on Wilmington Catholic Radio's three stations, 91.7 FM, 93.1 FM, and 103.1 FM on Saturdays at 11 am and Sundays at 6 pm on the first and second weekends of September.  You can listen on-line live by clicking on the Listen Now tab.  Or, listen 24/7 by going to the Carolina Catholic tab and clicking on the show page.

St. Michael the Archangel

Wilmington Catholic Radio is an apostolate serving the Catholic Church and consistently operating in accord with the principles and truths of the Catholic Faith as expressed in Sacred Scripture, Sacred Tradition and the living Magisterium of the Church. Our goal is to always provide the community with solid Catholic teaching so Catholics can have an easy way to learn more about their faith, and for non-Catholics to learn what the Church really teaches. This is our mission.
