Carolina Catholic chats about Advent and Christmas

For our first show in December, we will deeply explore the Christian meanings behind all of the Advent and Christmas traditions. Most people don't realize that every decoration for this season has deep spiritual significance from the lights in our windows to ornaments we place on our Christmas tree and the poinsettia we give to others. Each tradition is meant to bring our focus to the greatest gift we've ever received: Jesus Christ. We will also answer this question: What can we give Jesus for Christmas? Finally, we will talk about great gift ideas for Christmas that can help us grow in our faith including wonderful books and powerful sacramentals.

This show will air on Wilmington Catholic Radio's three stations, 91.7 FM, 93.1 FM, and 103.1 FM on Saturdays at 11 am and Sundays at 6 pm on the first and second weekends of December.  You can listen on-line live by clicking on the Listen Now tab.  Or, listen 24/7 by going to the Carolina Catholic tab and clicking on the show page.

St. Michael the Archangel

Wilmington Catholic Radio is an apostolate serving the Catholic Church and consistently operating in accord with the principles and truths of the Catholic Faith as expressed in Sacred Scripture, Sacred Tradition and the living Magisterium of the Church. Our goal is to always provide the community with solid Catholic teaching so Catholics can have an easy way to learn more about their faith, and for non-Catholics to learn what the Church really teaches. This is our mission.
