Carolina Catholic chats about communism, mourning, and persecution

For our first show in February, we learn about some urgent topics for our times from thre authors from Sophia Press Institute. Kristen Van Uden will show us how communism targeted the Catholic faith in countries like Cuba and Hungary, David Bonagura will share the wisdom of St. Jerome on mourning the loss of a loved one, and Alec Torres will discuss how even saints like Padre Pio and Venerable Fulton J. Sheen were persecuted from within the Catholic Church but led exemplary, saintly lives despite this persecution.

This show will air on Wilmington Catholic Radio's three stations, 91.7 FM, 93.1 FM, and 103.1 FM on Saturdays at 11 am and Sundays at 6 pm on the first and second weekends of February.  You can listen on-line live by clicking on the Listen Now tab.  Or, listen 24/7 by going to the Carolina Catholic tab and clicking on the show page.

St. Michael the Archangel

Wilmington Catholic Radio is an apostolate serving the Catholic Church and consistently operating in accord with the principles and truths of the Catholic Faith as expressed in Sacred Scripture, Sacred Tradition and the living Magisterium of the Church. Our goal is to always provide the community with solid Catholic teaching so Catholics can have an easy way to learn more about their faith, and for non-Catholics to learn what the Church really teaches. This is our mission.
