Carolina Catholic has some great ideas for gifts from Sophia Institute Press as we begin Advent!

For our first December show, we speak to four authors from Sophia Institute Press including Anthony DeStefano, a best selling author of adult and children's books, biographer of Sister Dede Byrnes, Dr. Leisa Marie Carzon, and two  writers/illustrators of children's books, Janine Rainwater and Frank Fraser. We will speak first to Anthony about his newest children's book, Christmas in Heaven. Then we will chat with Dr. Carzon about her book on Sister Dede, entitled, "Sister, Soldier, Surgeon." Finally, we will chat briefly with Janine about her book, The Melody of Love, and then with Frank about his book, Already There.   These are all great books to help us all deepen our Catholic faith as we prepare for the birth of Our Lord Jesus Christ.

This show will air on Wilmington Catholic Radio's three stations, 91.7 FM, 93.1 FM, and 103.1 FM on Saturdays at 11 am and Sundays at 6 pm on the first and second weekends of December. You can listen on-line live by clicking on the Listen Now tab. Or, listen 24/7 by going to the Carolina Catholic tab and clicking on the show page.

St. Michael the Archangel

Wilmington Catholic Radio is an apostolate serving the Catholic Church and consistently operating in accord with the principles and truths of the Catholic Faith as expressed in Sacred Scripture, Sacred Tradition and the living Magisterium of the Church. Our goal is to always provide the community with solid Catholic teaching so Catholics can have an easy way to learn more about their faith, and for non-Catholics to learn what the Church really teaches. This is our mission.
