Carolina Catholic and the impact of social media on the rise of human trafficking and why trafficking is a respect life issue

For our November show, our host, Judi Paparozzi, who teaches and trains extensively on human trafficking, gives a virtual talk for Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Southport, in honor of Respect Life Month, on how our kids could be vulnerable to trafficking if allowed unsupervised and unfettered access to all online social media formats. In addition, she gives tips on what parents and grandparents can do to partner with teens to protect them online. Finally, she discusses why trafficking in all its forms is a respect life issue for Catholics.

This show will air on Wilmington Catholic Radio's three stations, 91.7 FM, 93.1 FM, and 103.1 FM in Wilmington on the first two weekends of November, Saturdays at 11 a.m. and Sundays at 6 p.m.

St. Michael the Archangel

Wilmington Catholic Radio is an apostolate serving the Catholic Church and consistently operating in accord with the principles and truths of the Catholic Faith as expressed in Sacred Scripture, Sacred Tradition and the living Magisterium of the Church. Our goal is to always provide the community with solid Catholic teaching so Catholics can have an easy way to learn more about their faith, and for non-Catholics to learn what the Church really teaches. This is our mission.
