Carolina Catholic chats with Father Jeffrey Kirby, S.T.D. about suffering

For our second November show, our guest is again Father Jeffrey Kirby. pastor of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, Indian Land, SC, whose newest book, Manual for Suffering, released November 5th, presents the biblical and theological explanation for suffering. It also offers spiritual aids to those who suffer, in the form of biblical texts, writings of the saints, as well as traditional Catholic prayers and devotionals, and the book provides a timely answer to the cause of evil and suffering in our world today. It is an invaluable resource for those who are looking for answers as to why we suffer, why there are natural and moral evils in our world, and how the evils of our day can be endured and turned into greater goods.

This show will air on Wilmington Catholic Radio's three stations, 91.7 FM, 93.1 FM, and 103.1 FM in Wilmington on the second two weekends of November, Saturdays at 11 a.m. and Sundays at 6 p.m.

St. Michael the Archangel

Wilmington Catholic Radio is an apostolate serving the Catholic Church and consistently operating in accord with the principles and truths of the Catholic Faith as expressed in Sacred Scripture, Sacred Tradition and the living Magisterium of the Church. Our goal is to always provide the community with solid Catholic teaching so Catholics can have an easy way to learn more about their faith, and for non-Catholics to learn what the Church really teaches. This is our mission.
