Father Charles Murr, priest and author, about his book, Murder in the 33rd Degree

For our first August show, Tara Lewis and I interview our guest, Father Charles Murr, author of Murder in the 33rd Degree, who worked in Rome for many years and studied for the priesthood there. He literally saw history in the making in several ways: He was there for the pontificates of three popes (Popes Paul VI, John Paul I, and John Paul II), and he was friends with Canadian Archbishop Gagnon who was asked by Pope Paul VI to investigate the Roman Curia, the governing body of the Catholic Church due to allegations that Freemasons were controlling the selection of bishops and changing the liturgy/liturgical norms of the Catholic Church. His newest book details his investigation of the Roman Curia and how these three popes reacted to his investigation.
