Dr. Grazie Pozo Christie on Ben Hur
For our first show in September, we speak again with Dr. Grazie Christie, a medical doctor, mother of five, and a policy advisor for The Catholic Association. She writes and speaks in both Spanish and English about Catholicism, religious freedom, and the intersection of faith and science. In a recent article that she wrote entitled, "Ben Hur will make you want to be a better person," Dr. Christie describes the plot of the newest movie version of the 1880 book by General Lew Wallace, the deep and lasting impact that this retelling of the story of Judah Ben Hur had on her, and how we can all grow deeper in our faith as Christians when we learn to forgive the unforgivable.
